Tidal Bore Rafting tours

Long Trip: 3-4 Rafting Tour

Our long trip rafting tour is 3-4 hours in length. It starts at our site and travels out with the tide close to the mouth of the river in Maitland. We will meet the tidal bore near the rivers mouth. The bore is the signal that the tides will begin to rise. As a result, rising water creates great waves over the sandbars!Once we have met the bore, we will continue back down the river through rapids like “the giggles”, “The Killer K” and “Eagles Nest”. The tour continues as we float past our site and under the bridge to our next set of waves as we join up with the 2 hour tour. The four hour tour is recommended for experienced rafters and those looking to spend more time on the river!
